Aloe vera

 

Aloe vera is one of the most famous medicinal plants. It is very easy to prepare: the aloe vera gel is already included in the juicy leaves. Clean the lower older leaves and cut them off with a clean knife. You apply the escaping viscous juice directly to the skin. It replaces an entire pharmacy.

  • as a moisturizer for the skin
  • with sunburn
  • as an aftershave
  • for minor injuries
  • in case of burns
  • in wounds
  • diabetic ulcers
  • for insect bites
  • as a lubricant after the menopause
  • in eczema and psoriasis, which are severe itching and burning.
  • for acne and against facial wrinkles (antiaging) mix lanolin with aloe

Place the clean, cut leaf in a cup so that the gel can drain. After 15 minutes, weigh the gel and mix with three times the amount of sugar. Mix well with a wooden spoon. Give 5 ml daily in chronic cases, more if necessary.

Pregnant women should not take aloe internally.
