In naturopathy, fever is not reduced with medication in viral diseases. Fever is a body's defense mechanism that defeats the virus.
If you feel a cold approaching, a sweat cure is often very helpful. The best time is the afternoon. You drink hot tea in a hot room and lie down in bed so that you sweat profusely. Then you have to change the bedding. Sweating strengthens your immune system and gives your body more strength to fight the viruses.
If you have a high fever, this is a very good way to naturally lower the fever.

It is important that the cotton socks are not too wet, but wrung out very well.
I didn't see a wool sock in Tanzania. Here you can change the method slightly.
